Ask parent to fill in an 'All about Me' booklet and you should have all the info you need....I will try to attach the one I use.

Or you could simply ask parent to write out babies routine etc for you on the first page of their daily diary prior to starting with you, you just need an A5 notebook for this

aww that is a lovely booklet! thanks for sharing that! yeah i think i will just ask mum to write out her usual routine for me. im assuming she will have all bottles prepared etc for me to just pop in fridge so im not having to go out and buy a steriliser etc!!

i love your idea of an 'all about me' booklet. i think i will put something similar together for this wee one, thanks again, lesley

I'd check with mum before she brings baby for the first time!

Babies I've had recently have usually come with the water in the bottles ready and powdered milk measured out in little pots so I can make the bottles up as and when.

I may not be right but I think this is what Ofsted advise.

My parents do this for the babies I look after

My parent provides a tin of milk powder then I make up the bottles as and when.
