Participation Statement (Scotland)

I had my visit from care commission and although I had covered points in other policies/procedures the care commission officer thought it'd be good to do a statement under the heading participation as this is such a big thing that parents/carers/child are involved........so thought id pass this info on.

I have a participation strategy and it basically just outlines all the ways we communicate and ways in which the parents and children contribute to the servicounds confusing but its really only all the stuff we do, newsletters, informal/formal chats, phone calle, e-mails, texts. Notice board, questionnaires, all about me forms, learning journals, settling in documents..................... and the list goes on

Yip thats basically what it covers just another wee paragraph to write! most of things were covered in all my others but she thought it would look good under its own heading so Ive done it for them xx
