...... My external harddrive has died...... and taken all my accounts, policies and procedures with it!!!!

Its gonna take me months to get it all re typed up!!!!!

That will teach me for not backing it all up to CD......

Trouble is I had updated stuff as per last inpsection and not printed them out!!! How will I remember what I typed?!?!?!?! BRAIN FREEZE!!!!

have you got norton 360 or something silimar on your computer?
as norton back up all your files and photos on a online storage.

I lost my policies, still dont know what happen but got them back.

keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Your files are rarely gone for ever... just hiding from you!

There are programs to get them back so don't despair totally.

I'd have a word with a local PC doctor / repair person and see what they advise.

My kids dropped my laptop and the hard ware got deleted. Had in a pc place for a wk. Lost everything inc family hol photos and observations etc. Send it to someone hon you may be luckier than I was x

similar just happened 2 me, luckily I had moved childmindin docs 2 a pen drive but have lost all family photos...

Took it 2 various places and unable 2 retrieve, tried PC World they said only way was 2 send it off an that wud cost £700!!!! if it had lots of work docs on it then I wud have 2 have done it but cant justify that much on photos.
