    Default child protection policy

    Hi

I was wondering if someone could help me. I was registered by the Care Commission about 3 weeks ago and when the officer came out she went over all my policies and procedures with me, made a few changes and said to email to her when I had done this. On Friday I got an email from her saying she wasn't happy with my child protection policy, to change it and email it to her, if I needed help to contact the Council. Of course the lady at the Council is on holiday until Thursday.

could someone let me have a look at their policy or give me an idea what is really required?

    thank you so much

I don't know about Scotland Kirsty, but in England it is now called a 'safeguarding' policy instead of child protection.

There is also a good example on www.*************
