Complaint advice please

Hi I cant go into details but i have had 2 complaints made against me. I have informed Ofsted and LADO. Ofsted have since wrote back- no futher action. They said to just file the complaint and they may ask to see it on my next routine inspection. I have 'investigated' the complaint following my complaints procedure. I have completed a complaints form, acknowleged the complaintants complaints in writing. I now need to write a letter to tell them the outcome. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot so how do I admit my guilt without making myself look bad?

How should I word the letter? I have upheld parts of the complaints but not ones that can't be substantiated. I am hopeless at writing letters. I need to show Ofsted that i take complaints serioulsy. It has been a horrendous time and I just want to get it out of the way.

EDIT: I also wrote a non-prejudiced letter and have given a full refund of fees without liabiliy for breach of contract.

So sorry you are having a tough time. You seem to have done everything correctly. It is hard to know what you need to write without knowing the details. Hopefully someone will be along with better advice soon.

Have you got any legal advise- like Pacey, or maybe from your insurer, whom you could speak to about what to write?

I think it's important to take proper legal advice in situations like this.

£100 spent for an hour with a solicitor (if you can't get it free from your insurance) will be money well spent in the long run.
