I give parents my welcome booklet which says hello, talks about us and the service we offer and informs parents about opening / closing times, what to bring, food times etc ...

I cover that in my portfolio, and it is on the Pacey contracts, I put a reminder in any emails we have just before starting and we discuss it on settling-in visits (they often drop stuff off to keep here on settling visits to make the first 'proper' day easier, like change of clothes, nappies and wipes etc). Other stuff all depends on the age of the child and the season so I just manage it as I go along.
