    Hi there,

How you organise you files is a totally personal choice. You do not 'need' a 'safeguarding file' or folder at all... as long as you can access anything when asked that is fine. You do not need to show DBS certificates to anyone- Ofsted have records of them on their files and clients do not need to see them- they are confidential information, you just need to know where they are in case anything is ever questioned.

Put it wherever makes sense to you. As long as you know where it is to show Ofsted or prospective parents then it doesn't matter. x
