    Default Contract Change of Hours

    Good Evening!!

I would like to ask a question regarding contract change/update. I have a parent who has had to change hours and I wanted to attach a separate piece of paper detailing this obviously I will get parent to sign this off and attach to my pacey contract, firstly can this be done?? or is it easier to change on original contract??
    Many Thanks for your time

It can certainly be done. Simple enough to produce a 'contract variation' document in Word.

    Mine looks a bit like:-

    Contract Variation
This is to confirm that the childminder, Mary Poppins, shall provide care for

____________________________________________[child's name]______________________________________at the following times, with additional ad hoc hours by mutual arrangement with the client,

    __________________________________[parents'/carers' names]_________________________________________.

Day Times Notes [done in table format]
    Monday

    Tuesday

    Wednesday

    Thursday

    Friday

    Saturday

    Sunday

This arrangement to commence _______________________________________________201 5.
This replaces the hours shown on the previous contract, of ________________________________. All other contracted terms remain unchanged.

    Childminder: …………………………………………†¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â €¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦Mary Poppins
    Date: …………………………………………†¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â €¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦.

    Client: …………………………………………†¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â €¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦
    Date: …………………………………………†¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â €¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦.
The only thing I'd say is that the pacey legal team might get picky about it. They seem to like having absolutely everything on original pacey contract stationery. But tbh, I find the pacey contract is far too inflexible anyway.

I just add an amendment to my contracts, but if you are using Pacey contracts I would probably give them a ring and ask if they would accept that.

I use pacey contracts, but I do a form similar to the one above with childs name, date of birth and address on it, new hours, fees for those hours, date started, when/how fees due ( weekly/monthly/in advance etc ) it then says 'all details as per original contract signed XX/XX/XXXX'
it also has my name/address/EY number on it
we both then sign. I copy it and give parents a copy, and file the other.
