    Have a look in free resources, free downloads (top of forum) and there is a list of suggestions in the section Heakth and safeguarding written by our own sarah707

    Check the EYFS which will tell you what documents are required...CP is the main and most important requirement in the framework
    you must have a policy and be able to answer questions at inspection, it will reflect your knowledge and how you would act if necessary...who to contact and much more
    Make sure you quote and know who you contact in your LA when needed either for a concern about a child or for accusation against you...every LA has a different name for their emergency contact

    Also make sure you are familiar with this DfE 2013 guidance...this one is statutory so keep it in your Favourites if you do not want to print it

    If you have done a Safeguarding training recently with your LA check the notes so you know what they do and what you need to put in place
