hello.

I know I had posted a reply to a similar thread a while back, but I can't find it!

in my portfolio I have;

'welcome to my house/setting etc and a little bit of info about me/family/background etc '
copy of my registration certificate, PI insurance
copy of all of my policies
info about EYFS/observations/2 yr checks etc
sample menu/sample weekly plan
list of activities offered/places visited during termtime/school holidays, activities offered for after schoolers
information about fees/deposits etc
copies of all the documents I will ask parents to fill in - all about me form/routines/permission slips etc
copies of references
list of professional training/copies of my training certficates

it is quick a big folder! I did have it in several smaller ones, but I found it easier to give parents a big one with everything in it.

I have it organised into 'all about ME', policies, info for parents.

Im new myself just getting ready fir my pre-reg visit so this will come in handy :-)

Have you got it in a lever arch folder or just a standard A4 ring binder?

Think of your portfolio as your evidence and boasting book - put all the things in it you want to use to show off your business and way of working when talking to parents and during your inspection
