    Default Short term contracts

I need to use a short term contract for three sessions only spread over three months. I am a Pacey member and was thinking of ordering and using their Short Term Registered Childminder Contracts. However in the description of them it says "designed for placements of up to 28 days". I don't want to do 3 separate contracts (one for each month). Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone seen the short term contracts? I could use an ordinary Pacey contract but it seems a bit over the top for only three sessions. I don't want to do the job without a contract as I would hate to invalidate my insurance in the event of any need to get legal help.

If you are insured by Pacey and you want to use their legal help in case there is a contract or payment problem in the future then it is recommended that you use their contracts.

In these particular circumstances which is best, short or ordinary?

The pacey short term contracts are, as you say, designed for arrangements which last for up to 28 days. So you'd have to use one for each day.

Just use the full contracts, which aren't a whole lot more complicated than the short-term ones anyway. I would just write the dates required on the contract or do the whole thing as an ad-hoc arrangement and confirm the dates in writing to the parent.

I have made my own short term contracts and always get money in advance or on the day - I generally use these for ad hoc cover or settling in sessions as sometimes it can take 2 visits to complete the full contract. Sometimes do a short term contract for people who think I may have problems with and be time wasters - so don't want to waste the cost of full contract on them! But I'm not with PACEY so don't have to use their contracts.

Think I had better stick with the fuu Pacey contract better to be safe than sorry.
