Data protection
Just wondering if many of you are registered and paid the yearly fee for data protection?
It's something I keep looking into but not sure if we need it. Everything is paper based and photos are used and deleted, but do I still need to register?

Yes unfortunately you do, there have been many threads on here discussing this. I reluctantly registered and handed over my £35, receiving a piece of paper saying I was registered. I really have no idea what I have paid for but the fines are huge so I thought it was something I had better do. Unfortunately, next year I will get to pay another £35 for I have no idea what.

Yes if you use a digital camera to take photos, even if you print them immediately and delete them from camera card you still should register - the ICO told me the only way round it is to go back to old fashioned camera and film - just think how much you would spend on processing photos of which 90% end up in the bin!
