I hang them all together by a string thru the holes in plastic folders on my wall so parents can see.
I also have them at the front of my planning file.
The only further things I have in this file now are the trackers for each mindee with dates when they evidence each box in the dev matters . Even summative assessments, 2 year assessments etc go in the LJ now.

The individual planning sheet for each child is now stuck in the LJ with a line for parents which Ofsted also liked. Six weekly update.

All that is left is to show the evidence in the LJ for which I use 2Simple reports which Ofsted loved as it shows developmental matters with ages (which is now a requirement) as well as next steps. These obs take me five minutes now and I do one about each fortnight per child and use one photo to evidence about ten targets.

I still can't believe how little paper work I am doing. (But I do an a4 diary entry each night too of ongoing things and what we did) usually fill in about half a page with a box for each child.

I hang them all in plastic folders off the same hook in the public area for parents to see.

Do any parents actually ever look at them?

Three of my parents are teachers and they have.
I think Ofsted liked the whole sharing with parents idea - so did I as I had vowed not to do any more invisible planning any more that was locked away in files and never looked at by anyone.
The only other planning I do is their individual plan and even that is stuck in the LJ.
Ofsted made a big deal about the way this was all shared with parents.

Thank you, these are amazing, are they your own work or from your county? The sheets could potentialy cut so much paperwork out. Are you happy to share the other sheets free hand as well?

Yea happy to share but have to do it via enail so send me your address if interested. The other forms are not that different from other ones but the continuous provision one is definitely a new approach imo and I agree - saves loads of paperwork
However it has to be in conjunction with some sort of tracker - writing dates when evidence meets the developmental levels and also with an individual plan to show next steps. Happy to share both but they are not really ground breaking.

Thank you so much for sharing, this information.
I am currently giving myself an audit and looking for ways to cut back on paperwork.
Its so refreshing when someone has a great idea and doesn't mind sharing.
    Thanks again
