Default Do I need to update my policies?

I've been going through all my paperwork as I have Ofsted due very soon. Some of my policies mention NCMA. From reading posts on here, as I am no longer a member, I have found that they are now Pacey. This may sound like a silly question but do I need to update all of my policies that mention NCMA and change them to Pacey? Thanks, Helen

Why would you mention ncma / pacey in your policies if you are no longer a member? Sorry I don't understand.

Your policies must reflect you and your ways of working

Why do your policies mention NCMA if you are not a member? Anyway, I would save paper and just put a page in the front saying 'please note NCMA is now PACEY'. I doubt Ofsted care much about a detail like that, as long as you know about it and can explain you are updating them annually or whatever.

I updated all my policies in Sept for start of new EYFS, but Ofsted didn't get their act together and start changing their advice notices/policies until Jan - so now the CRB is now changed to DBS - I just e-mailed all parents telling them of the change and put a note in the front of my policy folder saying it was an amendment.

That is a good question I'd not thought of. When I first registered I was a member as I was advised it was a good thing to do. I then went on maternity leave had a break from childminding. I'm now starting to work again but decided to not to renew my membership with them. I guess I hadn't thought about needing to take it out of my policies. Glad I asked now, thanks for your replies. Hx
