    Default Health and Sagety legislation

    Helllloooo,

I am hoping for some ideas as to what to do!

Mrs O is coming in approx 3 days!!!

I am just updating my policies (as I was always going to do this month) and in the statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage booklet page 23, section 3.53 it states Providers must ensure that their premises.........Providers must keep premises and equipment clean, and be aware of, and comply with, requirements of health and safety legislation (including hygiene requirements) ......

I have a health and safety booklet regarding hygiene requirements, but what is the health and safety legislation, I am looking everywhere, is it as simple as having the kite mark, CE Mark and Lion mark on toys?

    Help!!

    Thanks in advance

    Zoe
