Default Ofsted Visit looming! Querie about Policies!

    Hello all,

I have my first official Ofsted visit looming and I am just getting my policies up to scratch!
So far I am ensuring that my current policies are up to date and inline with the new Statutory Framework. However my question is....

Because we have to show we are doing all the MUST's Do I need a policy for each point (1.7, 1.8 etc)? For example a Learning and development policy? to cover points 1.7, 1.9, 1.10, 1.12, 1.13 etc.

Just want to check, I dont want to miss anything out then Ofsted say... where is your evidence/policy for 1.10? At the same time I dont want to make work for myself!!

    Any views much appreciated

    Thanks
    Zoe

Yeah I have done those, but was swatting up on the Framework and wasnt sure if I would get penalised for not having the others! I am now currently writing a Learning and development policy covering points 1.9, 1.10, 1.12, 1.13...... thats all I'm up to so far!!!

Parents are going to love me when I hand them another huge wadd of paperwork!!

Email it all to them and then ask them to sign on one sheet, list of policies, signature and date....

Make sure that in your safeguarding policy you mention about how you manage the use of mobile phones in order to keep the children safe, although you might already have a separate mobile phone policy. If you look in the free downloads section on here there should be one.
