Can one child be contracted to two childminders on one contract?

Ok... pretty much what it says in the title. me and my mum work together, both individually registered, working at the same address, and we do everything together, same outings, same school runs ect... Question is, can we have a contract with the parents, stating that we are both the childrens childminder, or do they have to be contracted to one or the other?

as far as I am aware you can..
my friend works with her mum - both are minders in their own right - they only ever do one contract when they take on a child - you just put both minders names on the contract where it talks about provider details etc

I think in this case you would have to have a 'designated person' as a main contact though - the keyworker thing with the new EYFS?

I work with my husband and we have both our names on the contract.
And, yes, according to the revised EYFS we have to each have 'designated' children.

Not quite sure how and why that works as we both care for all the children and both chat to the parents about them.
