    Default Help Expenses

I apologise if this sounds like a silly question but I am a bit stuck with filling in my expenses. Can I record mileage for picking up my mindee and record mileage for trips out, etc.?

I am trying to work out my claim for water, electricity, etc. but I only work 12 hours a week so am not sure how to work out my percentage to claim.

Is it right that you don't have to include receipts for anything under £10? I know that you have to keep food receipts for a while.

Any help/advice would be gratefully received.

Yes, you do claim for any trip/collections etc for a mindee. it's 45p per mile.

Water rates/gas/electric/counciltax etc...this is from the front of the NCMA accounts book

council tax-10% if you work full time. Part timers can claim a scaled down amount...(40hours+ =10%, pt 20 hours =5%, Between ie. 30 hours+ 7.5%)
So at 12 hours you'd just work out a % lower than the pt% ie. 20 hours=5% so 10hours=2.5%...then the 2 hours is 20% of the 2.5%=0.5% add that together and you get 3%

    water-10% ft, pt scaled down amount...(40hours+ =10%, pt 20 hours =5%, Between ie. 30 hours= 7.5%)
    same as above

    heat/light(gas/electric)-33% ft, pt scaled down (40 hours+ =33%, pt 20 hours =17%, between ie. 30 hours=25%
20 hours is17%, 10 hours is 8.75%...and 20% of that is 1.75% add that together and you get 10.5%

No you dont have to keep reciepts for under £10, but if I get one I just keep it out of good practice
