Hi
I am now 5 months pregnant and my NCMA membership and insurance is due in 4 weeks. I plan to take 9 months. I was just wandering if I could renew it then deferr it while I'm not working so I don't lose 9 months.

My friend did so I dont see why not, best to ring them....or see if its on their website.

You are legally required to be insured if you are registered for minding - it's a requirement of the Eyfs.
Ofsted have started picking up on it too so I would strongly recommend you leave your insurance running.
