Hi there i am still a fairly new child minder and i just wondered if i go on an outing in someone else's car (as i do not drive) do they need to have public liability insurance or are they covered through my child minder insurance with pacey? I'm talking once in a while not regularly.

I suggest you contact your insurance company and check.

You are definitely NOT covered by your childminder insurance.

Childminders who drive children must have business class 1 on their car insurance. You need to check what your friend will have to buy / if it's possible to do.
