    Default Ofsted inspection and Christmas!

My first graded inspection is next week. I am in a quandry as to whether or not to get all the christmas things up? Any advice??

My concerns: if I don't it will look like I'm not celebrating it. If I do, will I have to risk assess everything? I usually put a string up for all the cards - what will Ofsted's view on that be?? (It will be high up so out of reach but I have heard they can be funny about string?) I also use string to secure my artificial Christmas tree to a table (we don't have floor space for it) so it can't be pulled down! I guess I could cover the string with fabric to make it look like snow??!

I'm pretty happy my paperwork is all ok (I hope anyway!!) My main concern is that I am going to have missed something obvious around the house.

Thanks in advance for any helpful comments/suggestions!!

Also, any ideas for activities to do when she's here with a 4 year old, 2 year old and 9 month old? I know not to try anyhting too adventurous or new but just wondered if anyone had any ideas that really worked well?

    Thanks again!!!

    Risk Assessment is your key.

Make sure you put a rationale for why you have the decorations and the benefits - helping young children to respect and value the culture and beliefs of others - as well as the risks.

I had my first graded inspection today. I have all my dec's up including tree. I did a standard risk assessment on the tree... risk of fire from lights etc and that was fine. She even said she might copy my colour theme!
