Smile Mrs O been for 1st inspection

Well I thought I was Sooo not ready. I managed to get my sef done over 2 solid days and have a shuffle thro my paperwork to ensure everything was signed and in order. She was nice, same lady who registered me!
I got satisfactory with a few good areas, however she said she couldn't give me good because I hadn't had enough time to build up evidence , my mindees started in September so I had a months worth and details of what I was going to do in the future-not enough!
Bit gutted that I was so close and yet so far. But hey, could have been worse. Now I have a goal for 3 years!
She did recommend I improved my sharing with parents. I write in their daily diarys, send picture messages, inform of upcoming topics/themes and aak for input, ask for their views on various and show learning journals. How does everyone else do this bit?
    Thanks

    Well done!

It sounds like you do a lot already.

As you put more into the children's learning journeys you will be asking parents to look at them and comment... you might also do a newsletter.

A newsletter is a great way to share info with parents and maybe a notice board, well done on your grading
