The illusive inspector is here tomorrow!!

Well after all the stress of the last two weeks, and the inspector not turning up, etc.... she left me a message today! She'd been ill and apologised for not thinking to get someone to ring me!! She wants to come tomorrow, so I agreed and she's due here at 9.45!

I did explain to her that the last 2 weeks I've been so stressed and decided to put Christmas on hold to get ready for my inspection, but as she hadn't turned up, this weekend gone was all about the tree and decorations, wrapping presents, writing cards, shopping, etc. So therefore the house and my head aren't exactly as they usually would be! She said they do take into account that it's Christmas. Let's hope so! Fingers crossed, wish me luck

Thanks for the good luck wishes!! It paid off! She said I can't share the actual grading yet because the reports have to be checked, but let's say I'm not closed down!! lol.

She said there are 17 areas to be marked on, and most were good. One action point, but nothing too major and she was happy with my learning journeys. I had one 3 year old and my 2 year old, they play really well together and are very chatty, and the inspector said they clearly enjoy it and are confident. She was really nice - good job after what she put me through!! lol.

Anyway, it's all over, the report should be here by the end of the year, and it wasn't anywhere near as awful as I'd thought it would be. Glad to have it over for Christmas, now it's time to eat, drink and be merry (well, once the minded kids have gone!)
