    Question problem with certificate

Hi all, when I was first inspected (pre reg) the inspector told me I could look after the standard 6 children, only 3 early years only 1 under 1 which I believe to be pretty standard. Anyway in all my excitement and under all the paper work worrys and panics, when certificate arrived I just displayed it. After having my first proper inspection this week, I have looked at it again and it says may look after 5 (because I have my own child) and out of those only 1 can be of the early years and only one (of that one i presume) can be under 1 The inspector didn't say anything i had 2 here, I'm thinking it should say 3 from early years then 1 under 1? What shall I do? I am pleased with my grade and don't want to of been breaking rules of certificate (which acording to what it says I have?) Also I could do without them having to come back again.

The only thing you can do is to give them a ring I'm afraid.

I hope you get it sorted quickly!

Hi Sarah thanks for replying, do you think I should wait until my grade comes in officially as she said not to tell anyone till it comes in the post. Or do you think they are gonna come back and re-inspect me and maybe down grade me for not noticing?

yes but i guess the op's says 1 in the early years with no more than 1 under 1 when it should say 2 in early years with no more than 1 under 1.

Just give them a call and see if it can be amended.

    (i assume your child is a pre-schooler?)

yes i believe it does. Out of the 3 in early years only 1 can be under 1 so total of 3, but my certificate says 1 in early years and out of that 1 only 1 can be under 1 ???? so saying I can only mind 1. I only have one child of my own, and have just gone through ofsted inspection lists and I seem to be the only one who has this on their certificate. (even providers who got the 4 grade are allowed 3 in the early years) I just don't want the stress of them having to come back again.

Hiya thanks yes you got what I mean (I can't explain myself very well sometimes) my daughter is two so really it should say no more than two early years and no more than one under one , do you think? I will prob get the inspector in trouble as well for not noticing, maybe I should try and get hold of her?
