For a sleepover if it goes beyond 2am? I just think its sad for lots of kids now if they can never have sleepovers at friend's houses
I know most parents won't even take any notice and my friend was trying to tell me to ignore it.
But all it needs is for someone who has a grudge to just report me as I would be in double trouble as I'm not registered for overnight care.
I just feel that my home is not mine anymore and that it is owned by the government and I don't trust my community.
Feel really down today, my daughter is going to be so upset that her friend can't come for a sleepover.
By the way, does this apply to ALL ages, or just to kids under 8yrs old?
    And what about emergencies?

How do they work this out then? Why can't someone come for a sleepover, you would not be minding them, they were a guest, that is different, you are only childminding when charging for over 2 hours am I not right? whose been moving the goalposts again?

oh flipping heck, that's not true Ripeberry, that was a ***** lady this morning, trying to be sarcastic, and in the process worrying/winding up loads of people - people are getting into a mass hysteria about this and reading things into it which simply are not true!

hereby bowing out of any discussion about this as I feel like chopping my head off and throwing it up against a wall now.

Perhaps we are not allowed to care for our own children, as surely your own child smile is the biggest reward in the world
we dont stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing
