    after u have been registered do u get your first ofsted visit? is it 6 or 7 months? thanks

    Oftsed tell you 5-7 months but they can inspect you much earlier, my inspection was 3 months after I was registered and i had only had my mindee for 4 weeks!

    they want to do a grading inspection around 6 months after you are registered but don not do it til you are minding .. ive been minding few weeks now and informed them soon as i started ..just waiting now eck

    mine was only a few weeks! but I had been registered for a year but had not done any minding (fell pregnant so returned to my job tog et mat pay!) so I called them up to say I was minding again and they were there within a couple of weeks!

    i waited 12 months only because i had op and had to recover they rang at round 6 months but explained i was ill so said they wud ring back in sept 09, she did and i had my 1st inspection on thursday 17th sept i had only been minding 3 days . but all good just dont stress and worry like i did... good luck
