Child protection

Hi All

Im due the NCMA lady round in a bit and the last time she come we was talking about my inspection that is due very soon!!!

She said that the inspector will be looking for evidence that Im up to date with child protection stuff.......

Could any one help me please...suggest any good websites ect

Ive been looking but havent come up with much at all

nat have you tryed googling it i just googled child protection and it came up with lots of info sorry i cant help more

Hi Nat

you need to look up and see what the procedures and contact numbers for your local Safeguarding Children Board.

you should also check that you have the latest child protection booklet as they are quite often updated without anyone letting you know.

Although it is not compulsory it is considered good practice to do a child protection course (now known as Safeguarding Children) every 3 years.

If you don't want to go out on a course you could always do the one online.

Just updated my Safeguarding Children training last week. To get the latest book..What to do if you're worried a child is being abused phone 0845 60 222 60 you can order up to 100 copies free!!! so distribute them among friends. I have just ordered 30 so Dee and Mandy could be in for a gift if they behave!!

Yes would love a couple of new copies if you do order them!
