I GOT MY VARIATION!!

After less than 3 days of posting the request for a variation to mind two under ones for 7 weeks, Ofsted called me today to say that it had alll been accepted and that i would be receiving an up to date certificate very soon!!!

I cannot believe it! Thought it would take at least a fortnight to even get through to those that grant them (or not)

Not one question was asked, so the letter was obviously sufficient.

I can finally sleep easy in the knowledge that on the 25th Feb i will be full to capacity and earning a decent crust!!

The relief is incredible and suddenly my friends and family are on my side (bunch of pesimists, good job i was born the optimistic one!!) I'm actually quite disappointed in the way my family have dismissed my ideas to childmind as a faddy descision that will leave me scraping the barrel for money......but here i am ready to prove them wrong and boy is it a lovely feeling!!!

(Although i am aware that the story could have been different, but hey! I've had a lucky break and it's about time lady luck shone on me for a change.......MUST do the lottery this weekend!!!!) (oh and i'd still mind if i won it!!!!)

It was the lady who came to do my first inspection that received the letter (what a stroke of luck!!!) so she has met me, seen my house and obviously recognised that i would be able to cope with 2 babies......but yes Ofsted do seem to be very quick in this neck of the woods (lack of minders perhaps?..... I'm not complaining!!!)
