    Default Assistant and EY2 form

I'm taking on an assistant, the DBS is complete and EY2 submitted, how long did it take for Ofsted to give the go ahead?

I think it depends on many factors. Im in Derby and my assistant submitted her EY2 form at the start of April and we still haven't had the suitability letter, so frustrating! Ofsted response is that they are still liaising with social services regarding this matter! Good luck with your application, hope it goes through quicker than ours x

Been on the phone to of stead and spoke to a lovely guy, who explained everything, he did say time depends on how many local councils they have to ask for checks also on how quick they are at completing them. He even went though step by step for my assistant getting the gateway number to complete. So fingers crossed it should not be any longer for you to wait. X
