    Default EY CIF Inspection Handbook

As you are aware this handbook was published alongside the CIF in June 2015 and comes into effect Sept 2015

Please look at page 9 for Notification of Inspection
While it is clear that settings will now be called on or around 12pm so they get half day notice...there is no mention of Cms notification at all...let alone confirmation we will still be called a few days before....have I missed this anywhere else in the Handbook?

I have now tweeted this query to Ofsted and have been asked to email Ofsted directly.
At the London OBC it was confirmed by the Ofsted panel that Cms notification would stay the same as now.
In my view it has to say so clearly in the Hanbook

Apologies for having wasted your time on this.
Ofsted have just emailed me and say the Inspection Handbook is due an amendment to clarify CMs ' Notification of inspection' in the next few weeks.
The clarification is that our notice remains as now a few days before inspection.

Just as well! So eyes open for that amendment
