When I went to look round a mindees Nursery and to meet her keyworker, she showed me the sleeping area and a big rack of stored sleep mats - so if it's ok for Nurseries then can't see why we aren't allowed. I don't know if Nurseries have to have someone who stays in the room all the time though as children could move around, play about, hurt someone, touch things they shouldn't.

We had them in the nursery I used to work in. I now use a cot mattress on the floor for those who are too big for travel cot or who climb out.
