Need help Autumn Topic

Hi Everyone

Getting very stressed got my first inspection very soon. My topic for September, October will be Autumn and I am really struggling for ideas of what we can do.

What can I plan for PSED for Autumn????

Please, Please can anyone help me

Do Leaf rubbings
Make pumpkin biscuits
Go on nature walk collect fallen leaves, acorns etc
Paint using autumn colours

I am going to do Harvest. This toplc will lead into learning about fruit and veg and crops of all sorts leading on to healthy eating, growing,cooking, baking and eating things like bread. Also a harvest festival for sharing produce in the community.So quite a few links to PSED there.

We as a family went on a nature trail a week or so back and colleted sticks and pine cones.

Yesterday me and my DD who is 3 made hanging mobiles for in the garden with them, my DD loved this and now wants to make a hanging mobile for her bedroom.

I have also made tree pictures using cutouts of the chidlrens hands as the leaves of the tree, let them decorate them in autumn colours and leaves we have collected etc.

PSED ~ Taking photos, looking, recalling, show and tell.
Visit woods.
Helping each other search for leaves, fir cones, acorns etc.

CLL ~ Sing Songs, Dingle, Dangle Scarecrow, Here we go round the Mulberry Bush etc.
Read Percy The Park Keeper.

KUW ~ Collect leaves and identify
Investigate hibernation

PSRN ~ Count and sort conkers, acorns, leaves.
Colour mixing autumn colours.

PD ~ Roll up like hedgehogs, prance like squirrels.
Use dough to create Autumn.

CD ~ Leaf rubbings.
Collages.

We are doing a Squirrel Hunt and collecting acorns, leaves etc and making a collage

Paint a tree - this one covers just about every are. Paint a childs arm with brown paint and this becomes the trunk. Give them green, red, orange paint to finger paint the leaves falling.

Hedehog Brea - get a pre pack of bread dough and when it is ready to be used roll it into an oblong, shape a nose and use scissors to spike up the body - cook and eat with homemade soup from harvest vegetables.
