    Default What else to add

On individual planning what else do I plan apart from childs interests?

If a parent asked me to do colours or numbers is it ok to add these into the childs current interests or do I need to plan seperately.

Then from childs interests do I do obs on the activities I have planned and link them to eyfs grid?

I really feel like crying Im that confused with it all
    Now the fun begins

If parents tell you the child is interested in something you treat it exactly the same way as if the child says he is interested or you have noted an interest as a result of your observations.

You write it up and think about next steps.

Then you re-visit it to see how the child has improved / enjoyed / commented etc.

You could also do things that you know need working on, if there are any. For example my mindee is 15 months and has only just started to pull herself up on furniture etc. So i make sure i plan lots of activities to encourage her standing and other physical development. This is helpfull for me really because she is too young to have many 'interests' as such that i can plan from.
