Just seen this thread, thank you so much for sharing this. Going to print them off and put them in my learning journals.
These are perfect, thanks for sharing.
Thank-you so much for sharing I like the idea of laminating them as well.

Thank you these are great. What a star!!
I am really happy so many people can make use of the grids I posted on here. Makes you wonder why these have not been given out to us on training courses or even just sent out in the post!
I once said to a trainer about this forum and she said she could not tell others about it as she might be seen as endorsing it! You would think with information sharing being in the news and with all the furore regarding the EYFS every little bit of help would be welcomed but apparently not.

thanks hunny :-D
much easier to use than the book iv laminated mine and use for quick referance
this is great and will save me sooo much time looking all through the book, just one question, because im a bit thick
how exatly do we use them? do we just tick off/cross of the things we think the child is doing/has done? was told we cant use tick lists so im thinking we write it up in an obb? but how? sorry, im having a total mentel block and maybe making it seem more complecated thn it is?
Hi all ive just been trying to access the grids but it wont let me open it? Is it because im new?? If so how / when can i look at them im just starting and currently look after two and struggling alittle with all the planning? Thanks Donna x
You use them as a help... a quick way of seeing what the child is doing and where he might go next.
You don't need to tick things off, although if they are backed up by observations then you can add dates as you notice things being achieved.
One of the main things to remember is they cannot cover everything - children do lots of things not mentioned in the Eyfs!
Hth
thanks for sharing
