    Default help with planning

hello - once my crb has come through and I'm registered - hopefully sept/oct I will have two 3 years olds coming pt after nursery in the mornings. one monday and tuesdays and one wed and thurs. I'll also have my 4 year old and almost 2 year old.

I know the children a bit as they're children of friends. I wanted to do a bit of planning so I know roughly what we're going to be doing but I'm not sure where to start.

    Can anyone help me?!

    thanks,
    rosie

To start with, spend time getting to know the children and finding out what they enjoy doing.

Watch for the ways they learn as well... and how they tackle problems, work things out etc.

When you feel ready to add some structure to their days, use the things you have learned about them and offer them activities and challenges that you know they will enjoy.

Try if possible to link your planning with what they are doing at home and in their nurseries by offering activities that complement elsewhere.

    Hope this helps
