There is some absolutely fantastic ideas for planning on the forum, please could anyone advise me the best way to document my planning for Ofsted, are there any forms etc that could be used to reference planning to the EYFS.

    Thank You

Well I think it is a case of trial and error. I have tried numerous formats and what may suit me may not work for you. I think Ofsted liked that fact I had reviewed my planning and made changes as it showed I was evaluating my work.

Try some formats and you will soon get a feel if it is working, you may feel you are doing too much or alternatively think something is missing.

    I use 2 sets of planning -

Group planning for the older ones - I have a lot of after schoolers

Individual planning for Eyfs - a plan to follow each child's needs which starts with their interests and home experiences and builds from there.

It's all written up in a few minutes at the end of the session, so it doesn't take long...

What they have enjoyed today / how today went / what they have said or done... and what I will plan for them next session.
