I think im getting somewhere lol. Have put a next steps section on monthly planning and my observation sheet. Am using these to plan for the following months next steps activity. Some are naturally occurring some require special resources/outings. Does this make sense? How often do you all do a development summary? Also where do you slot in childs interests in planjingy? Yes that sounds brilliant!

I do development summaries every 6 months so I can look back on the progress the child is making. That doesn't mean I ignore development in between - my obs / next steps show that the child is moving on.

Children's interests can be shown in obs
