    Default 2 year check

    A child I mind already had her 2 year health visitor check before starting with me. Do I need to complete one? Ofsted are on the way just trying to cover everything.

    My understanding is that you should complete a two year progress check even if the health visitor has already carried out a two year check.

    Yes, it is nice if the HV gets it in time for their own check but not essential. It is a statutory part of EYFS and has to be done and shared with parents. You can still ask parents to send it to HV for 'HV's records'.
