    Default resource activities/plan

I'm looking for a resource of activities linked to eyfs that i can look at when i'm stuck for ideas, ideally a set of cards or something comprehensive not just one or two activities per area, and that suggests differentiation. Can anyone recommend anything?

Do you mean a list of resources which link to various areas of learning and development?

Or a list of activity ideas like continuous provision?

Or am I on the wrong track?

What agegroup are you thinking about Winnie?

Hi Sarah I have my continuous provision which is linked to areas of learning, and that works well as a prompt for me when needed. I suppose what I’m looking for are ideas of activities (for example floating objects in water) that then tell me at a glance what area of learning it covers, how to change the activity for younger/less able children, older/more able children and ideas for next steps. I’d like it all linked to development matters and tied with a pretty bow….and free (last sentence is wishful thinking). I know some of the sites such as ****** and other packages have a library of activities, I was hoping there is an online site or series of books that just have activities that someone could recommend. Or have you got an e-book Sarah?

I don't have anything in that specific layout - though I have written a series of articles for Child Care magazine which covers what you are looking for - but only month by month not lots of different areas of provision.

My play planning e-books (17 and 43) suggest lots of activities within different age ranges and are linked to the EYFS but don't differentiate because that tends to be done as the day goes along rather than planned if you know what I mean.

I wonder if you might find something on TES? Teaching Resources, Classroom Resources & Lesson Plans - TES Resources

Otherwise maybe extend your continuous provision as you go along - I bet over a year of adding to the CP plans you will have a very extensive resource library!!
