Default A happy little pet story

    Just had to share...

Four years ago my sister's cat went missing. Her two children were devastated as you can imagine. They put up posters etc but had no luck and obviously gradually gave up hope. Two days ago they had a phone call out of the blue - and yes, someone had found their cat! A couple in their nineties had been looking after it. Their daughter, who just happens to work in a vets surgery decided to bring her scanner home and check for the microchip (not sure why it took four years, lol). Yesterday they were reunited with their beloved kitty! My sister and niece could hardly sleep the night before she was brought back, it was a dream come true for them. Their pet fish died last week and so it was the perfect tonic!

    Happy days!

That is so lovely, I've heard of cats making their way back home after months but 4 years! there's hope then for a few missing cats round our way.

The lady told my sister that last week a cat was brought into their surgery for a check up after being reunited with its owner after six and a half years! They live in Derbyshire but the cat was found down south! They think it must have climbed into a builder's van at some point - but no one will ever know the whole story! It does give people hope though like you say!

How lovely I bet your sister was shocked when they contacted her
