    Well...
At the beginning of July I went to the dentist with toothache. It was a dentist who I have been to several times before and I really don't like her - her manner just irks me, but she is the only one who has an appointment when I need one in an emergency. Hubby has had treatment with her too and doesn't like her. She wanted to pull my tooth out there and then but as I had a plane to catch that afternoon for my Summer holiday she agreed to give me anti-biotics instead to clear up the abscess. She also said I needed another tooth filling and as usual made me feel generally like a dirty, unhygienic creature who now has to spend hundreds on treatment which I have brought on myself. She also recommended getting a brace. Now, I am 42 and have never had it put to me that I need a brace and so I laughed that one off.

Today, I had managed to get an appointment at my dentist of choice - guess what - no tooth extraction or filling needed. The lady was shocked when I asked her if she thought I should have a brace. They were so lovely and constructive with me and so after stressing out all morning before my appointment (wondering how much money I was going to have to spend and waiting for my telling off) I am now in a great mood!

Hubby is just finishing some work and then he is going to drive us out somewhere for a nice country walk. x

Had a lovely day. Got the washing dried and a lot of time in the park.
