it did have to be me.

Looks like this parent visit is a no show as well Though I don't think we can blame the date for that.

Oh well tidy house again shall I now tempt fate and start making a drink and something to eat

Im having a lovely quiet day

Nah I'm not superstitious, are you?

I had the battle of my one schoolie and DS bickering for the whole hour they were together this morning, I then saw DS through his door, dropped mindee at his and had a lovely walk home with no buggy or LO's holding my hands. I love my work and really enjoy their company and everything that goes along with it. But I looooove my fridays all nice n quiet n cosy in my house doing what I please lol xx

We are in birthday mode today celebrating mindees 3rd birthday - so haven't even thought about avoiding ladders or black cats.

Another one! Is that 3 in a row?

A nightmare morning with lots of school boys playfighting even though they know I don't allow it

The rest of the day has been fabulous - 2 lovely 2 year olds and a quiet after school. Makes such s difference as to how much wine I have tonight!

Lovely Friday 13th - so far. Diaries and observations all complete...as are half termly summaries - now catching up on death in paradise...whilst DH is cooking dinner, would help him but somebody has to look after 13 year old lab retriever who had an operation yesterday and is taking a little time to recover - he has this huge collar on so if he summons up the effort to move he just walks in to things! Poor old man is finding life a bit difficult but will be fine by tomorrow I am sure. Meanwhile - somebody has to sit on the sofa with him!

I could claim that Friday 13th was the cause of one parent forgetting to send lo's mittens, but that's just what parents do.

I could also that Friday 13th was the cause of said mindee throwing the mittens I lent him into the river of slurry flowing from the farm gate we pass each morning, but that's just what he does.
