Default wanted! ' a poem about winning '

I am sure the wonderful people here can help

DD needs a poem about 'winning' for drama!

I can't find a child friendly one, it doesn't need to be long ( about 8 lines I think ) and can be about winning ANYTHING or winning in general! I was looking for one about the joy on winning ...

does anyone know of one, or could write one? poetry writing is not a skill I have !!!

    THANK YOU!

these are the 2 I have found, but I'm not sure they are suitable, as DD is only 9. I do like them though!

THE MAN WHO THINKS HE CAN
    by Walter D. Wintle

    If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win, but think you can't
    It's almost a cinch you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you've lost,
For out in the world we find
    Success being with a fellow's will;
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you're outclassed, you are:
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
    Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the one who thinks he can.

    CONFIDENCE
    By Melissa Underwood

You don't always have to be in the lead...
If you have the heart to come from behind.
Don't give up hope, don't doubt yourself,
And a new strength is what you'll find.
The spirit of competition, the desire to succeed
will always be important for life.
So give your all, everything you've got,
No matter the occasion, through pain and strife.
So step up to the plate, enter the race,
Never be afraid to take your turn.
Because winners are people who just never quit,
And this is a life lesson we all will learn.

    I am a winner
Because I kept my eyes on the prize
Success is going to be mine
    And that is no surprise
My head is held up high
    And I can feel proud
    I can stand up
And say that 'I am a winner' out loud
