    Default Centre Parcs ad

I read this article about the new centre Parcs ad being banned because it encourages parents to take children out of school time so that they can get best deal...a ban seems harsh, but centre Parcs definitely need to look at making prices fairer all year round (as well as other holiday companies) interesting read! Many parents cannot afford to take their children on holiday at peak times. So it's either holiday in term-time or no holiday. If I were in their situation I would rather take my children out of school for five days so that they could have a holiday rather than them miss out. I would then help them 'catch up' with any work they missed at school while we were away. Family holidays can also provide valuable learning experiences.

There has been similar posts on here before about pulling children out of school, I don't necessarily agree with that, but I can see how parents prefer to do that rather than pay almost three times regular amount to go in summer holidays! Although with the school fining parents, I'm not sure how much cheaper it is to go in school time...I think it's right to challenge the holiday providers and hope they bridge the gap in their prices!
