Default Road Safety Week next week

Is anyone doing anything in particular?
I have found a few good links websites through
    http://www.brake.org.uk/links
and particularly like these online games for the older children

I have a few books I bought last year from Dangerspot - I am starting with those and then making a road safety display with the children - they love making displays!

We will talk about roads in the ice and snow as well because I think the weather is changing soon.

We made up a song last year - let's hold hands and cross the road, cross the road, cross the road, let's hold hands and cross the road then we'll all be safe'... and the children added different verses.

I wonder if they will remember?

    Thanks for the links.

I'm hoping to cover this before we start our Christmas stuff!

    Miffy xx
    Keep smiling!
