    Default Headlice

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP........ I have a child attending who is constantly infested with headlice, I have tried to advise parents was just wondering if anyone has or can recommend a parent information sheet that I can give to her.

The parent has difficulty taking in information so it needs to be something simple.

    Many Thanks

OOOHH feel for you, I had a mindee that was repeatedly catching them, it was a never ending cycle in my house.
Thankfully we have been BUG FREE for the last 2 months.

At the beginning of term we got them, nasty things. Anyway, I asked the doctor for the strongest stuff on prescription and a nitty gritty comb (cost £10). i got it all on prescription so therefore free. I got the nittygritty link from a printout to give to the doc so perhaps if you find it, you could give it to all parents and just insist it more onto her. i am constantly treating my hair now. i discovered them on my birthday and i was so depressed :-(

Thank you for your suggestions, I have just looked at the Nitty Gritty website and you can get a comb on prescription, there is a letter to download for your GP, so think I will suggest this to mum and also think I will make a information sheet for parents as I can't find anything simple enough.

Nitty gritty comb, lots of conditioner... head lice stuff from the chemist if you see some walking.

The trick is to keep treating as the eggs hatch to get them all.

Off for a good scratch now
