The Gingerbread Man

I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of some great resources to link in with The Gingerbread Man. I am following on from my mindees nursery and thought of making gingerbread men with red noses for red nose day and of course reading the book too. Other than that I am struggling. Any help appreciated.

Well what stands out to me in this story is run run fast as you can ....
so I would be looking at running activities, chasing, tag games and looking at the effect running has on the body (increased heart rate, panting) you could also make playdough gingergread men and women giving them happy faces and sad faces
