    I'm thinking good for heursitic play, perhaps? Although I'm sure there are other uses too.

    Fabric shops and carpet shops will often give you their out of date sample books if you smile sweetly and say it is for children's resources.

    I just put 10 in my basket and it was charging me £3.99 delivery. Maybe I was being a little greedy.

    I asked at the local fabric shop - she directed me to a offcuts section at the back of the shop where the cheapest bit was £5 and was bi enought to upholster a couple of chairs....

    Ikea, they have a fab section of fabric samples and other fabric items usually situated around bargin corner at the end.

    I got a feather filled ball, a duvet, a large fabric sheet with cars parked all over and two different textured curtains all for 25p each !!
