I came across this on Twitter and have had a quick look - first impressions are good

It is American but you can select UK English

Online animated books - 52 in total.

Can print - including supporting resources

Parents / carers section which explains things and includes a summary record of progress.

I think my 2 yer olds will be able to join in with some of the supporting activities

I was right about my two year olds -of course the main reason that I am interested in this is to support Dominic who at 8 can not read and can only write things like his name,

Anyway put on book one and I had 3 two year old pushing to get best view of laptop and get very excited when they saw things they recognised. Then at the end they retold the story.

Then to my surprised they noticed the print outs on the printer (prepared for Dominic) and they wanted to use them.

I am totally against phonics teaching for two year olds - but all for supporting children's interests. This way I will keep both Ofsted happy and maintain my ethos and principles
