    There isn't a lot of scope for 'characteristics of effective learning' to take place when doing a worksheet. Little hands/fingers/wrists can get tired when tracing lots of letters/numbers and so can their minds. Some of the sheets are quite monotonous and wouldn't excite the children. Obviously these wouldn't be the ones you would choose. Sorry, just got a bit of a downer on worksheets as DD's teacher uses them a lot and they are never balanced out with investigations of a mathematical nature, or a multi sensory approach to learning. Really don't mean to offend anyone. x
